First Haircut

Ashton's MeMaw (our daughter, Melissa) took him to get his first haircut last Saturday after their visit with us. So when we see him tomorrow, he will be a "big boy". According to his MeMaw, and as evidenced by the pictures she took, he was not a happy camper! Poor baby...week before last he got a cast put on his arm, last week he got his first haircut...sometimes it's really stressful being a little guy.

Not as bad as it looks

Ashton has learned to run..unfortunately, his legs don't always keep up with the rest of his body. Last week he was playing with Daddy and ran to get a toy. He fell and caught himself with his outstretched hands. He didn't really complain with it and continued to use his arm but when Mommy took him to the his regular doctor's visit a few days later, she mentioned the fall. X-rays followed and they showed a hairline fracture in his wrist. The cast is just a safety measure in case he falls again, it could cause a complete break. He's not real happy with it, in fact the doctor says when the cast comes off in about 3 weeks, they will sedate him...(that should give you all a clue as to just how very unhappy he was to get it put on, LOL).

Sorry, I'll have to get back to you on the kit used here.

A matter of opinion

Our "little" bundle of joy. We had the honor of babysitting Miss Gracie last week. One of the reasons I didn't have scrapping time. Luckily, the last day we kept her was the day I got this terrible cold, so she didn't get any of my germs. What a fun week we had, but I must say, I now understand why God made young people have babies. She is just so much fun, full of smiles and laughing out loud now, but she seems to know exactly what you are saying when you comment about her "fat" wrinkles, and she takes it a little personally. LOL Big Papaw said she's just a little fluffy and that brought on the smiles again. It amazes me how perceptive this little one is, I mean really, it seems as if she takes in and understands totally everything. (no, I'm not the least bit partial, lol).
Thanks for looking in on our Fluffy Miss Gracie.
