This is one of my favorite pictures of CJ. It's hard to believe she will be "Sweet Sixteen" in only a couple of months. CJ (short for Candace Jasmine) is our special gift from God. When she was born she was in neonatal intensive care for almost two weeks. It was a really tough time for us because we had just lost her infant brother, Jordan, 2 years before. Of course all our grandchildren are special to us, it's just that, for a while, we weren't sure we would get to bring CJ home.Monday, September 17, 2007
